About the Company
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced shipping clerk to facilitate daily shipments. The clerk will be responsible for quality control, packaging, labeling, and shipping printed materials. The position requires a person who is very organized and great in prioritizing, organizing and planning in order to see each job through completion accurately.
Job Responsibilities
- Read and understand job tickets
- Perform quality checks according to established procedures to ensure high quality of production
- Accurately pack and label outgoing packages
- Assist in workflow and process improvement planning
- Must have the ability to maintain organization with multiple projects, prioritize workflow, adhere to timelines, and meet deadlines
- Ensure deadlines are maintained and company objectives are met
- Maintain and inventory supplies as needed
- Must be prompt, courteous, professional and take pride in work
- Work in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Responsible for the overall safety and cleanliness of equipment and area
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Heavy lifting required
Key Skills
- Knowledge on shipping software (ShipStation, WorldShip)
- Proficient in Excel.
- A strong attention to detail along with a sharp focus on quality
- Ability to work independently and with minimum supervision
- Able to multitask well, remain organized, and handle many projects at one time
- Hardworking, assertive, and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to communicate effectively with other employees of the organization
- Ability to react quickly and make continuous adjustments
- Ability to work overtime and weekends when needed
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus
Experience
- Minimum of two years of shipping experience with large format imaging a plus
- High School Diploma
